About the Role
NH Care Center, LLC is looking for caring, reliable individuals to provide personal care and companionship to our clients in their homes throughout New Hampshire. As a Caregiver, you will help clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. This is a deeply rewarding role and a great entry point into healthcare — we provide all necessary training including dementia care certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide toileting assistance and incontinence care
- Assist with safe transfers and ambulation
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and errand running
- Provide meaningful companionship: conversation, games, reading, and hobbies
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Provide safety supervision including wandering prevention for clients with dementia
- Support prescribed range of motion exercises as delegated by RN
- Monitor and report changes in client condition to nursing supervisor
- Document care provided at each visit
Qualifications
- No certification required — we train you
- Must be 18+ years old
- Genuine passion for helping others
- Reliable transportation
- Pass background screening
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- LNA, HHA, or PCA certification a plus but not required
